We are actively seeking our next Client Lead, a joyful and driven team member who executes and oversees a full suite of cloud accounting tasks across a variety of customers.

This position is available for US based individuals seeking between 20-40 hours of work, allowing you to balance other important parts of your life with an exciting, fulfilling career. So what are we looking for in an ideal candidate?

• Mastery of accounting, bill-pay and payroll in a Cloud Accounting environment. Managed multiple clients from end to end including onboarding and clean-up. Accounting degree required. Accrual, CPA and public accounting experience is a plus
• Proficiency in cloud accounting technologies (2+ years in QBO, Bill.com, Gusto, etc)
• Excellent communication skills - with both clients and team members across multiple channels, and an innate desire to build relationships
• Keen attention to detail - someone who is obsessed with making sure there is accuracy, integrity, and dependability in their work and can bring the same out of others
• Resourcefulness - an excellent problem solver who also knows how to ask for help when needed
• Humility - someone who is open to coaching and critiques and is always seeking to improve and it able to coach others with the same attitude
• Great coach - someone with a desire to empathetically teach and mentor junior staff
• Joy - someone who is a pleasure to work with - both internally and for our clients
• Persistence - someone follows through and can politely remind others to stay on track

What does the day to day look like for this role?

• You have total responsibility and accountability for your client’s books and finance processes (bill payment, payroll processing, etc). You do some of the work yourself and also oversee support staff. This also includes client clean-up and onboarding work.
• You’ll utilize cloud-accounting systems including QBO, Xero, Bill.com, Gusto, Tallie, etc.
• You are the main point of contact for the client.This means you answer questions with joy and support and advise clients on best practices across their accounting and finance operations
• You work with supporting team, coaching and answering questions warmly and clearly
• You review the books of potential clients to see what errors need fixing. You assist in determining how we could best serve the client and help sales price the client correctly
