REMOTE Systems Administrator Job at Insight Global
We are looking for a senior systems administrator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for transitioning legacy systems, redeploying new updates, and migrating Linux based web applications. Additionally, they will be responsible for database configurations, host configurations, and migrating legacy healthcare data to a new virtualized system.
Responsibilities:
- Transitioning legacy systems to redeploy upgrades
- Working on prem applications that are deployed on end-of-life virtual machines that need to be redeployed to new hosts
- Configuration management
- Migration of data applications from one host to the next
- Standing up web servers
- Creating migration plans
- Integrating the applications
- Working with Network security
Must Haves:
- 6-8 Years working as a Systems Administrator
- Extensive knowledge of web application deployments
- Mature Linux application System management
- Experience working with Apache.
- Experience deploying with Tomcat.
- 4 years working with My SQL or MariaDB
- Experience creating migration plans.
- Experience managing and deploying full stack web applications.
