Ecommerce Chat Representative
(Greenville WI, Lombard IL, Lancaster PA or Mansfield Ohio locations)

This position reports to the Ecommerce Supervisor and is responsible for building positive customer experiences. Complete work in a professional manner by receiving, investigating, processing, and responding to customer inquiries via the Chat tool. This position performs all essential job functions of an Ecommerce Customer Care Rep. Ecommerce Chat is a fast paced, high-volume role. You have the option to work remotely from your home or from our office locations, answering incoming customer chats. You will receive all necessary training virtually. High energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment to meet daily targets and metrics are necessary for success.

The base salary range for this role is $35,000 - $45,000 .

Summary of Primary Responsibilities
  • Support for customers or sales reps’ inquiries via chat regarding online account access.
  • Partners with associates and/or School Specialty departments assure customers’ expectations are exceeded.
  • Identifies and resolves underlying root causes through research and analysis.
  • Develops customer and system knowledge expertise.
  • Assist customers with resolving error messages while navigating our Ecommerce platform.
  • Exercises care within the work environment to prevent injuries. Support and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as defined and required by business needs
Minimum Experience Requirement
  • Two years customer service-related chat work experience.
  • One year data entry and keyboarding experience.
Knowledge/Skills required
  • Ability to key large volumes of alpha/numeric data accurately.
  • Ability to perform business math calculations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates consultative techniques by using probing questions, clarifying needs, overcoming objections and providing solutions that fits the needs of the customer.
  • Consistently demonstrates professionalism and integrity with a warm and friendly demeanor to customers and teammates.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
