PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Corporate Reporting Analyst coordinates projects associated to entities that CPKC is integrating, provides a primary point of contact for the execution of external audits and ensures the Company’s balance sheet accounting reconciliation policy and procedures are followed.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Maintain project plan associated with integration activities within the Finance department
• Assist with accounting and reporting projects associated with the integration of new subsidiaries
• Liaise with external auditors to support their execution of audit activities through coordination with different internal stakeholders
• Administer access and data within account reconciliation process
• Monitor the account reconciliation process and ensure that balance sheet account reconciliation policy and procedures are followed
• Support other external and legal entity reporting activities
• Ensure financial reporting and disclosures outputs associated with responsibilities are in compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), tax, securities regulation, and SOX
• As assigned, research US GAAP and SEC guidance, identify alternatives and document recommended positions

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• CPA designated or training towards a CPA designation
• 2 to 3 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP requirements, desirable
• Application Expertise (desirable): ERP/SAP, BPC, Excel, Workiva, Blackline; · Process Management Skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
• Possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to set and meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication Skills.
