Sunrise Community of North Miami Dade, Broward & Palm beach is excited to announce we are actively hiring a Full Time Residential Program Director. As a valued member of Sunrise Community you will be responsible for ensuring that individualized supports and services are designed and provided to build on an individual’s strengths, interests and needs, and assist individuals with disabilities in becoming full participants in community life by means of advocacy and education directed toward building communities of acceptance. Qualifications

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
• Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
• Must possess basic computer skills Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience working in the human service field preferred
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred

Essential Functions

• Supervises and maintains a positive team of well trained employees who provide support, direction and oversight to the interactions of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Provides training and constructive feedback to employees through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoring
• Ensures implementation of therapy, training and behavior programs and data collection required by the individuals’ plans and regulatory agencies
• Ensures that the home offers choice and creative activities within a positive innovative person directed environment
• Monitors for ongoing compliance with agency directives, licensing standards and policies and procedures
• Ensures all homes and vehicles are well maintained and organized
• Performs all other duties as assigned'
