Easterseals NH, VT & Farnum is hiring for a Residential Support Counselor-Part time Evenings. We are mission driven: We help people age in place, find paid employment, achieve sobriety, improve mobility, transition to independent living, develop life skills, access education, secure housing, find family, and connect with their communities.

As a Residential Support Counselor in our program, you will participate alongside individuals as they partake in enriching, integrative activities throughout their communities. Gain hands-on experience working with adults who represent a diverse range of abilities and needs, supporting them as they achieve greater independence. Your flexible role will adjust from supervision to hand-over-hand assistance as you support each individual during work, cooking classes, yoga, or other vocational activities in their communities.

A position in our residential program will bring you inside the homes of individuals in order to provide significant, needed assistance in their daily routines. Share your compassionate energy as you accompany our members to the store, transport them to work, or assist them out in the community. This position is supporting adult men in a residential home in Weare, NH.

Qualifications:

*This particular position requires at least one year of direct care experience.

* You must be 18 years of age or older to fill this position.

*You must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance for transportation requirements.

Compensation: $17.50 hourly

Hours: Sunday-Tuesday 3 pm-9 pm
