Kentucky State Police is the premier, full service law enforcement agency in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Primary Role:
In addition to over one thousand sworn employees, the Kentucky State Police has nearly 800 civilian personnel working in law enforcement support, forensic science, and other criminal justice fields. Titles such as Public Safety Telecommunicator, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Investigator, Criminal Intelligence Analyst, Forensic Biologist, and others are unique to the agency. The Resource Management Analyst II will work within the Recruitment Branch to develop civilian recruiting strategies that attract qualified applicants for open positions. KSP is seeking a high energy, reliable individual who excels at the networking, relationship building, and marketing it takes to recruit outstanding talent.

The Resource Management Analyst II will work within the Recruitment Branch to develop civilian recruiting strategies that attract qualified applicants for open positions. KSP is seeking a high energy, reliable individual who excels at the networking, relationship building, and marketing it takes to recruit outstanding talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze civilian recruitment needs and create recruitment action plans per position title/series. Work collaboratively with the Recruitment Branch, Public Affairs Branch, and operational unit to successfully recruit and retain personnel for civilian roles.
- Schedules and attends job fairs, community, and Kentucky State Police events.
- Acts as the liaison between the agency and high schools, vocations schools, colleges, universities, career centers, non-profit organizations, Chambers of Commerce and the Military to build relationships and promote Kentucky State Police for employment.
- Create, implement, and provide guidance on digital media for recruitment.
- Review job ads for digital media resources.
- Collaborate with Public Affairs, Recruitment, and operational supervisors to create, monitor, and manage KSP social media content for civilian recruitment.
- Research and implement new sourcing methods, digital media resources, companies, and programs for requirement opportunities and make recommendations to Recruitment and Public Affairs managers including need and cost analysis.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of systems analysis, business administration, or public administration experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Related technical or vocational training will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year for year basis. A master's degree in computer science, business or public administration will substitute for one year of the experience requirement.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Experience in computer programming, systems analysis, information services, research and statistics, business administration, or public administration will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
