Job Summary:

The Restaurant To-Go or Restaurant Takeout Delivery Driver is responsible for supporting all aspects, service and delivery of take out and catering orders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides amazing hospitality experience to guests exceeding guests’ expectations while delivering orders.
• Demonstrates restaurant menu knowledge and the ability to recognize different menu items for delivery and to be able to answer questions regarding menu items, and types of services offered.
• Ability to place the orders through the point of sale (POS) system.
• Review and package items in appropriate packaging while adhering to all food safe standards for catering orders.
• Ability to load, unload, and performs set-up/tear-down of catering orders while adhering to all safety standards.
• Operates personal vehicle (including bicycle), follows route, and adheres to time schedule (also applies to walking).

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience is not required – we will train you!
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette
• At least 18 years of age with own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Able to pass company criteria for delivery to include motor vehicle inspections and driving record standards
• Ability to read a map or navigate various routes
• Must be able to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects weighing up to 30 lbs. repeatedly during a shift
• Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable, or must be able to obtain card, where applicable
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment
