Job Summary:

The Construction Manager will oversee restoration projects from start to finish while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations. This role will plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate restoration projects according to schedule, specifications, and budget, while also managing problems that arise while construction is in progress.

Construction Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise multiple Project Managers on various construction projects simultaneously
• Oversee Project Managers and Superintendents on the project are in versed with the project goals and objectives
• Maintain and report out department finances
• Monitor construction schedules and milestones, and progress against established schedules from the Project Managers
• Must be able to develop the final budget and present to Finance and Leadership as well as communicate project status and details with connecting departments
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with trade contractors, consultants, sub trades, designers, and clients
• Visualize the entire project, anticipate areas of risk, and embed solutions in the plans/schedules to prevent those risks.

· Attend coordination and progress meetings; make regular trips to sites during construction including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress site visits, punch walks, and construction closeout

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience Restoration Construction
• Knowledge of jobsite safety practices required
• Experience with managing multiple people leaders as well as project managers
• Knowledge and experience with insurance related property damage (water, fire, storm)
• Experience with Xactimate software is a must

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
