Job Summary

We are seeking a Retail/Food Service Supervisor to lead our retail team in an hospital setting in Rochester, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages cash handling procedures, drawer countdowns, and daily business reports.
• Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services needs based upon direction and customer count
• Directs, coaches, trains, and develops retail team members
• Follows marketing plans, displays marketing kits, sets and manages schematics/plan-o-grams
• Ensures retail staff assists in achieving stated customer satisfaction goals
• Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Participates in/ leads patient/customer satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
• Writes orders, checks in deliveries, manages product back stock levels
• Understands FIFO, rotation, product management, and safe food handling procedures.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree with one (1) year work experience in food services or related field, or 1-3 years in leadership role in a retail setting
• Experience in leading in a multi-departmental environment is desirable
• ServSafe® certified is preferred
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications: outlook, excel, internet explorer, etc.

Schedule:

• Every other weekend off (rotating)
• Every other holiday off (rotating)
