Convenience store sales associates are on the front lines interacting with customers. Associates arrange merchandise, stock shelves, manage store displays, and ensure all areas are clean and neat.
Convenience store sales associates are expected to keep track of inventory, notifying their manager when something is running low or ordering new inventory as needed. Convenience store sales associates operate the cash register, processing customer payments, handling cash, debit, and credit transactions, and balancing the cash drawer.
The most important quality in a convenience store sales associate is the ability to be upbeat and cheerful at all times.
