Description:Ojo Spa Resorts is looking for an energetic Retail Supervisor to join our Retail and Spa staff in Ojo Caliente and assist with day to day sales inquiries!
The Retail Supervisor assists the Retail & Brand Manager in directing the day-to-day operations of the retail function at Ojo Caliente Resort by providing a strong customer service leadership presence and control in store operations, while ensuring that all customers receive excellent service and quality merchandise. Also provides Spa supervision. Reports to the Retail & Brand Manager; also, matrixes to the General Manager.
The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Ojo Caliente Holdings, Inc. (OCHI) Core Values; Accountability, Authenticity, Diversity, Excellence, Gratitude, Happiness, Integrity, Mindfulness, Respect and Teamwork.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the Retail & Brand Manager in Inventory Management and Merchandising
1. Ensures guests receive excellent service, given assistance or information they may need and have their purchases completed in a prompt and accurate manner.
2. Assists with controlling inventory stock levels and reordering as necessary.
3. Assists with ensuring the financial integrity of the retail area through strict cashier accountability, key control, and adherence to stated company security practices and cash control procedures.
4. Assists with inventory control by receiving delivery from suppliers, checking invoices, pricing, and price changes, handling damaged products and returns, and making certain paperwork is routed correctly and in a timely manner.
5. Assists with facilitating the efficient staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise.
6. Assists with ensuring that shelves and racks are well-stocked, including effective product rotation.
7. Assist with planning and adjusting schedules as necessary.
8. Assists with maintaining a clean, well-organized store; facilitate a safe and secure working and shopping environment.
Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Retail/customer service experience
• Experience working in a Spa is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively communicate oral or written. Effective interpersonal skills
• Dependable, strong team player, friendly, and self-motivated
• knowledge of and experience with inventory management tools/software
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Familiarity with POS/cash register. Knowledge of best practices in cash management, and in facility and safety control. Ability to ensure compliance with policies and practices.

Working conditions:

• Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Employee must be on their feet or moving product around for 8-hour shifts

Due to the natural environment at Ojo Spa Resorts, all staff must be comfortable outdoors performing physical activities, and be able to navigate uneven ground, diverse terrain, multiple stairs, and be prepared to work in unpredictable weather conditions.
