POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Drying Operation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the intake of rough rice for drying, storage and shipment. This position will assist the Manager of Drying Operations with the development of staff as well as production and storage planning. This position will oversee and execute the facilities maintenance and sanitation plan. This position will also assist the Manager of Drying Operations in developing and overseeing capital improvement projects that improve safety, quality, delivery or cost. The position is also responsible for compliance to the organizations food safety, personnel safety and regulatory procedures that may apply to the scope of their duties. This position must be proactive and willing to embrace a culture of continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years rice dryer operations
• Knowledge in rice storage and drying
• Knowledge in equipment repair and maintenance
• Ability to use equipment and tools
