- POSITION SUMMARY
- Patient navigator nurses are nurses who promote the timely flow of individual cancer patients through the healthcare continuum of care. Their emphasis is providing patient education and support assisting patients in the management of their illness from diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship and palliative care.

- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure
- BLS certification required
- OCN certification strongly preferred; must be attained within 18 months of date hired into the position
- Chemotherapy/biotherapy certification required within 6 months of date hired into the position
- Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure
- Educational Requirements
- RN program as evidenced by licensure

- Experience Requirements
- Previous oncology navigation experience strongly preferred
- Previous oncology navigation experience strongly preferred
