This is a night position in Behavioral health eligible for a sign-on bonus and is full-time at 36 hours per week with full benefits. There is opportunity for overtime and additional shifts if desired. St. Mary’s units include ER, Birthplace, Float pool, Rehab, Med Surg, Same Day Surgery, ICU, PCCU, Behavioral Health, OR, and Cardiac Cath.

Position Summary:
The RN has multiple roles and functions including care-giver, decision-maker, client advocate, manager, rehabilitator, comforter, communicator, and teacher. The functions include assessment of the nursing needs of the patient, initiation of the plan of care of nurse action, implementation of the plan of care and the evaluation of the process, by use of the nursing process. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice. The RN promotes the dignity and quality of the nursing care given to the patient.

Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
- Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required.
- ADN required, BSN preferred
- Current BLS required.
- Secure training required within 60 days of hiring, renew annually thereafter.
- 1-3 Experience as a Mental Health RN preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Requirements:
- Current LPN license from the state of Oklahoma
- IV certification strongly preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in Behavioral Health nursing strongly preferred
- BLS required.
- Secure training required within 60 days of hiring, renew annually thereafter.
- Basic computer skills required
