- POSITION SUMMARY
- Serves as a RTW case manager for the Work Injury Management department (WIN) at Trinity. Also serves as contracted employee for WSI and serves as liaison between area businesses, clients, physicians, and Workforce Safety and Insurance (WSI). Is responsible for assisting injured workers in returning to work and communication with the employee, employer, and WSI regarding work ability outlined by the treating physician. Responsible for supervising the Employee Health Department which includes the FIT Testing Program.

- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.
- Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.
- Educational Requirements
- RN program as evidenced by licensure.
- RN program as evidenced by licensure.
- Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of work related injuries is preferred.
- Experience in assessing injuries and providing first aide is a must.
- Case management experience preferred.
- Background preferred in medical/surgical, orthopedic and neurology areas of nursing.
1-3 years healthcare management preferred.
- Previous experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of work related injuries is preferred.
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
- Good typing and computer skills.
- Knowledge of WSI, OSHA guidelines, and CDC recommendations.
- Must be proficient in nursing skills and nursing assessments.
- Ability to understand health concepts and terminology.
- Good communications, attention to detail, strong leadership and effective interpersonal relationship skills a must.
- Must be a self-starter being able to work independently.
- Good typing and computer skills.
