USPI Baylor Medical Center at Trophy Club, is seeking a motivated MED/SURG or POST-SURGICAL UNIT REGISTERED NURSE to join our team. Located just west of Grapevine, TX off of Highway 114, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club has been a top choice for local physicians that serves all people through exemplary health care and community service. We are a joint venture between Baylor Scott & White Health, Tenet Healthcare, United Surgical Partners International, and local physicians. We perform over 7,000 procedures and have 9 operating suites with 21 inpatient rooms, and an emergency department open 24/7 with an ED physician on-site.

NIGHT SHIFT: 7P-7A
Job Summary: The Post Surgical Unit RN / MED-SURG RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. The Post Surgical Unit RN is assigned to respond to patients presenting to facility with a healthcare need and will provide the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.

Required Skills:
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
At least one (1) years' experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit preferred, but New Grads encouraged.
RN, current in the State of Texas
BLS, ACLS
USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
