Kids For the Future Rogers is seeking a RN to work with children ages 0-6 in a classroom/Pre-K setting.

Our facility is an Early Intervention Day Treatment Center (EIDT) for children who have needs in the areas of Nursing, Physical, Occupational, Developmental and Speech Therapies. The hours for a full time position are 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday and childcare is available. No weekends!

Our full time RN position is a combination of classroom placement/administration/audit/office position to care for the care of children who have medical needs/fragility. The best candidate for this position is a motivated, ambitious, flexible and a team player. Here at Kids For the Future Rogers, our focus is care for our kiddos and each other. Our part time or PRN nurse will have a portion of the above duties based on their availability.

This position is a safety sensitive position and passed background checks are required. Current unrestricted AR license is required.

Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Maintain SDS records
• Manage Employee and patient safety/infection control standards/immunizations
• Take and record patient measurements
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Assist children with daily necessary activities of daily living
• Administer medications per physician instruction
• Communicate with team members in a positive manner to enhance patient care
• Classroom teacher breaks
• Office/Administrative duties including HIPAA, customer service and COVID-19 protocol implementation

Skills

• Proven experience as RN or similar role
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle a fast-paced environment
