ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

RN works collaboratively within an assigned multidisciplinary classroom team and is responsible for the daily nursing tasks, communication, documentation, and other health care supports for assigned groups of infants and children ranging in age from 4 months to 5 years old. Classroom teams remain with the same patient cohort for up to ensure the best quality patient care, improve health care outcomes for children with complex medical needs, and to support their families.

Flexible opportunities for professional advancement and learning - paid Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization training (PEARS) certification, Care Management certification, subspecialty topics presented by pediatric experts and subspecialists, regular participation in Case Conference (grand rounds-style meetings) and other professional advancement opportunities to pursue your individual interest areas and develop your skills and knowledge in a wide array of pediatric complex care and/or early childhood development content areas. RNs are encouraged to develop their own customized CEU program including opportunities to advance into training/development, care management, advocacy, and/or other areas of interest.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2-4 years of pediatric and/or acute care experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• New York State Registered Nurse licensure
• Current infant and child BLS certification
• Vaccinations must be up to date, including COVID-19

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $34.00 - $42.00 per hour
