Shift: Night Shifts. Candidates hired into these positions agree to cover staffing gaps as needed in their areas of expertise.

The role you’ll contribute: The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within a patient care unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities. This is a great opportunity for Registered Nurses transitioning out of Travel, Agency or Staff Flex into permanent Full-time roles, or any Registered Nurse looking for experience floating between different hospitals.

• Demonstrates effective assessment skills to ensure quality patient care is provided.

• Performs and documents accurate initial assessment per unit standard.

• Consistently develops an appropriate plan of care for patient from admission to discharge.

• Establishes appropriate implementation of nursing actions to ensure competent nursing care is delivered.

• Effectively evaluates the nursing plan of care to ensure safe, competent delivery of care is provided.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree.
• Active Florida RN license required.
• 3 years of acute care hospital experience.

• Other requirements:
• Must be able to work at all five locations listed above.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period, and at least 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
• Must be able to work 3 holidays per year (two major and one minor, as determined by department)

• Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in the following units are preferred: PCU, ER, ICU, Med Surg and/or CDU Observation.
