Hours: 7 am to 4 or 5 pm , Monday- Friday. Depending on weather and how much work needs to be accomplished in a day's time for ending time.
Starting pay is $20.00 -$30.00 based on experience!! Experience is not required!!
Roof Installation Duties:
- Ability to assist with tear off of existing roofing materials and properly dispose of them.
- Ability to properly install flashings at curbs, pipes, and walls.
- Ability to install membranes, shingles, tiles, shakes, or steel panels as required by the various roof systems.
- Ability to install all types of metal edging. This includes gravel stop, drip edge, or coping.
- Ability to operate various types of roofing equipment.
- Ability to ensure that projects are water-tight at the end of each day.
Safety/Physical Demands
- Must understand the OSHA guidelines for the project, and practice safety on the job sites according to those guidelines.
- Must fully understand and comply with traffic laws if driving company vehicles.
- Being able to work at heights (with fall Protection) being able to lift 50-60 pounds, climb ladders etc.
