Overview
The Sales Account Executive (AE) representing CUSA HSG Sales Division is responsible for all territory sales activity of Canon Specialty ID Card, Label Print and Cable Printers, Canon ImageCLASS and Pixma color and monochrome printers to the Reseller Sales Channel. The Canon AErepresents the company to the Channel and the Channel to the company in all sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions and training.
You will develop strategies to penetrate assigned accounts with your management and internal resources to promote account growth and the diversity of Canon products sold. We will rely on your strong time management and B2B selling skills to provide consistent accessibility, service and maximum visibility to our customers. Solid business communications and account planning skills coupled with your ability to pro-actively interface and engage with field sales to implement the strategic plans will allow you to hit the ground running. Your presentation and account management skills will be called upon to develop marketing programs, and create the strategic sales plans. Customer base includes all territory resellers (Dealers/VARS/System Integrators and Alliances Partners). The AE develops local strategies to promote reseller growth and increased sell through of Canon to end-users Account Executive works closely with CUSA Distributor partners to ensure all processes to the reseller are met.
This position is full time and is considered virtual. The CUSA office will be open 5 days a week; however you will not be required to report to the office unless there is a specific business need. Significant travel is expected for this role (approximately 40%) which will include some overnights. Work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for selling hardware and/or software technology-based solutions to clients., achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or account.
- Responsible for securing and maintaining distribution of products and/or services and maintaining effective agreements.
- Maintain and establish business partnership with account list, both new and existing customers.
- Assist with upgrading existing customers in your territory and implementing creative sales strategies in order to meet customer needs.
- May perform extensive customer needs analyses and site surveys at customer locations.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and conduct product demonstrations.
- May prospect for new business opportunities through cold calling both in person and via telephone.
- Has working knowledge of company products and services and Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
- Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Experience selling Label and ID Card products strongly preferred
- Requires significant travel (Approximately 40%)
