Noonday Market is a business of Gun Lake Investments (“GLI”), an Economic Development Corporation, owned by the Gun Lake Tribe. Noonday Market is a Fuel Center and Convenience Store located in Shelbyville, MI, across the street from the Gun Lake Casino.

Noonday Market is seeking Sales Associates to deliver an amazing guest experience. This role is an integral component of the store’s culture and key to its success. They will be responsible for working as a team with a positive attitude, while sharing and performing all activities and duties necessary to provide outstanding service and a clean and inviting environment. Noonday Market will provide team members with an exciting opportunity to have fun while being part of building something great. Tasks & Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service
Itemizes and operate a computerized Point of Sale system
Collects payments and/or verifies credit acceptance
Responsible for keeping cash drawer balanced
Receives and verify merchandise purchases; stock shelves and cooler
Controls Inventory and cash through accuracy and record keeping
Performs light paperwork duties as assigned
Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the employee handbook
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Other functions that may be assigned Prerequisites:
Availability: Be available to work in a 24 hour environment that is open every day of the year.
Education: Some high school or equivalent with the ability to read and perform math
Experience: Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction
Work History: Satisfactory work history and/or demonstrate an excellent work ethic.
Interaction: Interacting with customers and team members in a fun and friendly atmosphere

Physical:
Maintain flexibility to quickly shift focus to any task that needs completed
Position requires bending, standing, walking, and repetitive use of hands and arms throughout the entire workday
Possess the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and occasionally, up to 50 pounds
