Job description:
The following is a list of the primary job responsibilities for the position:
1. Read, analyze, understand, and synthesize potential clients' technical and business requirements and understand the data challenges of our clients.
2. Assist in the elaboration of high-quality professional proposals that reflect upon the image of Fairfax Software as a leader in its field.
3. Learn the use of our tools and products and put together meaningful demonstrative solutions for all the features of the product.
4. Elaborate contents of the company's webinars and participate in the delivery and presentation of the same.
5. Assist the sales executives in the elaboration of a solution that meets or exceeds the technical and business needs of the clients.
6. Customize a solution to meet the specific needs of the company's prospecting clients after obtaining their specific requirements and demonstrate product features in-person or remote.
7. Participate in system sizing discussions with the clients' IT departments to include server, storage, and network needs for both on-prem and hosted solutions.
8. Learn product specific features that distinguish them from market competition and effectively and convincingly show those to prospecting clients.
9. Recommend courses of action to management based on market conditions and observations from client conversations.
10. Participate in crafting solutions to prospective clients that include properly sized hardware and software components.
11. Participate in the company's trade shows throughout the year and provide the company's Marketing Department with insight on client trending needs directly from the field.
12. Provide our Core Software Department with insight to drive product improvements based on market knowledge and exposure to client needs and requirements.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Technology, Information Management Systems, Business with emphasis on Technology, and/or five (5) years of experience successfully providing software systems inside sales.
2. Deep understanding of modern software systems both on-prem and in the cloud, especially involving database technologies, web services, systems interfaces, and graphical user interfaces.
3. Proven ability to analyze complex data processing issues and quickly elaborate appropriate model solutions and demonstrate the same.
4. Awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
5. Creative problem-solving ability, a positive flair for underlying technical issues, demonstrated autonomy, and a real sense of initiative.
6. Forward thinking and intuitive ability to develop non-production grade demonstration material rapidly and accurately.
7. Outstanding presentation skills and ability to write outstanding technical proposals and synthesize ideas into convincing written argumentation and compelling value propositions.
8. Desire to work in entrepreneurial environment, and a strong commitment to teamwork both within the Sales Department and other department within the company.
9. Focused, results-driven, positive demeanor and ability to work under tight deadlines aligned with client purchasing cycles.
10. Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills to deliver proposals and prepare various sales-driven materials.
11. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of our internal developers and on the outside with the clients' business and system users and stakeholders.
12. Ability to travel, sometimes frequently, on short trips to client sites for in-person presentations and demonstrations with potential clients.
