Lewis Bakeries, Inc. is looking for a Sales Manager for the Lexington, KY area. The desired candidate must be located in this area. Position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Lewis Bakeries Inc. is a leading producer of baked goods in about a dozen states in the Midwest, anchored by its flagship brands Bunny Bread, Healthy Life, and Lewis Bake Shop bread. The company's products include whole grain and white breads, buns, and muffins. Boasting a handful of baking facilities in Indiana and Tennessee. In addition to its own brands, Lewis Bakeries makes and distributes bread products under such licensed names as Cinnabon, Sun-Maid, and Sunbeam. Essential Functions

• Developing and growing customer relationships within a big box selling environment.
• Providing leadership to a team to achieve sales volume targets
• Recruiting, training and developing a team of merchandisers to meet customer requirements and expectations, as well as sales targets
• Providing feedback to management to ensure effective results
• Meeting and exceeding customer expectations by following company strategies
• Observing and reporting competitive activity within the territory and recommending solutions to management
• Promoting practices that result in all employees conducting themselves in a safe and professional manner

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have at least three years of sales and management experience in a consumer packaged goods or direct store delivery environment. College degree is preferred.

This position is subject to a drug test and background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.
