The Sales Manager assumes the responsibility for generating sales, communicating with customers, building client relationships, managing the team, and ensuring that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager assumes the responsibility for generating sales, communicating with customers, building client relationships, managing the team, and ensuring that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures. Helps conduct major sales promotions and advertising as needed.- Approves all sales incentives before submitting them to the accounting office.
- Addresses complaints to ensure a high level of CXI.
- Creates systems that ensure ongoing sales training, including weekly sales meetings.
- Audits all appraisals of trade-in vehicles with the General Manager.
- Reviews and initials all deals before they are posted.
- Makes sure the facility is secure, well lit, and professional in appearance.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Attends managers’ meetings weekly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- New or Used Sales Manager experience a must.
- We are looking for a digital savvy individual and hands on with his/her teammates. Not afraid to make calls as it’s a requirement to lead by example.
- 3 years OEM Sales Manager experience a Plus
- Minimum of 2 years of Management experience
- Steady work history and a proven track record of success
- Must be able to manage several team members at one time.
- Dealership Management System experience.
- Attention to detail, prioritizing tasks, and good time management skills are a must.
- Qualified candidates should be self-motivated, competitive, and must possess excellent communication and people skills.
- Must successfully complete background and drug screening.
