Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Maintain and develop relationships in all areas of our industry to grow sales in our markets.
  • Manage trade and distributor relationships to grow sales for BCDC
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with retail liquor stores, restaurants and bars as well as within the community.
  • Strategize and execute plans to grow case sales for all BCDC brands.
  • Make account calls independently and with distributors in all channels.
  • Coordinate/host, entertain key trade and distributor visits at BCDC.
  • Develop and manage target lists for on and off-premise targets.
  • Tours and tastings for trade and distributor visits.
  • Single Barrel selection with trade and distributor visits.
  • Off-premise tastings and events execution --often times in the evening or weekends.

Qualifications:

  • Motivated, driven self starter.
  • Ability to work individually as well as within a team environment to create and execute sales opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail and skilled in working with sales projections.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to speak publicly and deliver dynamic presentations.
  • Ability to use logical or rational thinking when overcoming challenges.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain budget.
  • Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner at all times.
  • Ability to travel to markets outside of immediate area as may be required to perform job function.
  • Ability to perform light physical work; may be asked to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to ten lbs frequently and up to 5 lbs constantly performing such activities as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older to apply.
  • Must reside in Northern Kentucky or Southern Ohio.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Experience:

  • Proven track record of success in sales.
  • Thorough knowledge of general spirits industry products/production as would normally be acquired through 3 (plus) years of trades training and/or experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of general business administration practices and procedures.
  • Distributor Beverage/Alcohol experience is a preferred.
  • Bachelor degree preferred but not required.
  • Compensation for this position $47,000 a year, plus bonus on sales volume (up to $25,000)
