Sea Breeze Food Service is looking for a motivated and independent sales representative to join our growing team. We are a family-owned and operated broad-line food distributor based in Jacksonville FL. We have a state-of-the-art test kitchen led by an award-winning chef and a newly expanded fresh fish department. We are full commissions pay employers with salary options to start your career. We are searching for qualified applicants in the following Georgia areas: Brunswick, Waycross and Valdosta.
Responsibilities
- Making daily in-person cold calls to prospects.
- Maintain and service existing customers in assigned territory
- Timely and accurate product order entry
- Identify opportunities to grow new and existing relationships to include discussing new products and sampling with customers
- Assist in menu development and improvement to include emphasizing features and benefits of products
- Consultant to new and established business
- Collecting and keeping accounts up to date on payments
- Creating and organizing your own daily calendar for maintaining and prospecting customers
Requirements and Qualifications for Employment
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
- 1 year of sales experience preferred or experience in the food service industry
- From prior experience, or through our field training, seek to become an expert in food distribution and have a passion for helping customers
- Must be self-motivated while maintaining teamwork and collaborative attitude
