*SALES TEAM MEMBER* Part-Time Position Preferred Start Date: Jan 2023 Location: Encinitas, California The Nada Shop is seeking a part-time sales associate to work primarily on weekends and some weekday shifts. The sales team position will be customer facing and will aid in the day-to-day operation of our local sustainable shop, interacting with customers and maintaining community relationships. *About The Nada Shop:* The Nada Shop is a line of organic skin care, body care, and household products that are people and planet safe. You are enthusiastic about sustainability, or are eager to learn more about it. You also: - Are available to work weekends - Are able to life and move up to 40 lbs - Are detailed oriented - Love lifting people up, boosting morale - Enjoy helping others *About the Role:* The sales associate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including but not limited to: - Creating and maintaining customer and community relationships - Working as lead sales person in the store - Acknowledging and greeting each customer - Assisting customers in store - Answer customer questions and taking a proactive approach to finding the answer if you don’t know - Restocking and merchandising the shop - Completing set weekly tasks to aid in the operation of the retail store (back-stocking, inventory, cleaning) - Educating customers about our refill process, our products, and low-waste living in general - Being a NADA brand advocate The Sales Team Member will also be expected to drive sales, reach sales targets, hit individual KPIs, and uphold company policies and procedures to support the profitability and growth of the company.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
