Job Title: Sanitation Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sanitation Manager to oversee and manage our sanitation operations for a high-speed food processing company. The Sanitation Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our facility is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to meet food safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sanitation procedures that meet or exceed all regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Train and manage a team of sanitation personnel to ensure that all sanitation tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
• Develop and manage a sanitation schedule that meets production and maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate records of all sanitation activities, including cleaning logs, chemical usage, and inventory of cleaning supplies
• Monitor and ensure the effectiveness of sanitation practices by conducting regular inspections and testing
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality assurance, to ensure that sanitation procedures are coordinated with other plant operations
• Manage the budget for sanitation supplies and equipment
• Participate in internal and external audits and inspections related to sanitation and food safety
• Continuously improve the sanitation program by implementing best practices and staying up to date on new technologies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in food processing plant sanitation management
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
