Summary:

Under the guidance of the Sanitation supervisor the Sanitation Crew Member will maintain a clean work environment for the entire plant mainly focusing in the kitchen area. Other duties may apply.

All employees are responsible to follow all of Nutrition Corp. protocols of Food Safety.

Essential Duties:

• Practice Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Understand general operation of all equipment needed to be cleaned.
• Cleans equipment needed to run production operations.
• Break Rooms, entrance and locker area: wash windows, floors, pick up trash, clean sink and cook areas, replenish supplies and maintain bathrooms.
• Maintain a process for all stored chemicals and proper labeling in accordance to OSHA regulations (if any)

None

Work Environment:

While performing the Sanitation Team Member duties, the employee will work in a warehouse cold environment hot kitchen environment.

Physical Demands:

• This position will work the graveyard shift only
• Able to do repetitive work
• Able to lift to 60lbs
• Able to work in a high-paced and hot environment
• Able to withstand strong odors from the foods being processed
• Requires standing 100%
• Requires frequent bending/stooping and reaching
• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Standard days and schedules are usually Sunday-Saturday.

Days and hours are subject to change depending on Company needs.

Experience/Education Preferred, But Not Required:

• 2 years’ Experience
• High School Diploma and or a total of 3 years’ experience combined.
• Lean Manufacturing a plus
• Computer literate
• Experience in Customer Relation
• Able to work with others as a TEAM PLAYER and efficiently direct a team.
• Bi-lingual skills a plus
