SANITATION TECHNICIAN
Mayer Bros. Apple Products in West Seneca is looking for a third shift, full-time employee that will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food production equipment as the production schedule allows.
- Completion of proper paperwork and verification of sanitization
- Follow the master cleaning schedule and allow for time to sanitize and clean production areas/equipment as needed
- Responsible for the equipment cleaning requirements based on regulatory requirements (i.e. USDA, FDA, SQF, and other agencies as required) and elimination of contamination. Participation in pre-op for USDA and swabbing.
- Responsible for the disconnection and connection of all equipment in regards to the CIP system. Responsible for the equipment functions and routine maintenance in regards to cleaning
- Troubleshooting sanitation equipment and knowing chemical usage
- Work closely with other departments within manufacturing plant for production and maintenance needs
- Responsible for being flexible in regards to production scheduling and sanitation needs
- Perform nightly cleaning assignments
- Perform pre-op inspections
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior Sanitation equipment cleaning in food/beverage industry preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
