DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates all vehicle equipment trucks in a safe and effective manner in order to
minimize risk of inquiry, property damage or loss of life.
- Transports all collected solid waste to the landfill.
- Performs daily safety and maintenance checks, assisting with the repairs of the
solid waste collections trucks.
- Maintenances a daily log of maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintains a daily record of all solid waste pick-ups and deposits.
- Cleans solid waste collection trucks as scheduled or required.
- Performs duties in a safe manner and in accordance with Authority safety
requirements.
- Interacts in a courteous manner with customers and members of the public.
- Assist in implementing the Authority rules and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited school is required
- One (1) year of related experience.
- A valid US Virgin Islands Class E Driver’s License is required.
