About the Role
Nuvve is looking for a Scrum master for our global software team. Scrum master will be responsible for taking small to large IoT, AV Charging application programs/projects from original concept through final implementation. This person will develop detailed program/project execution plans and manage all implementation processes including projects financials, progress tracking, metrics, monitoring change control process, testing, release to production and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
This is a full-time position opportunity. The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $140,000. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the applicant's knowledge, skills, abilities and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide overall communication and interfaces with all areas affected by the program/project including cross-functional stakeholders, business sponsors and vendors
- Create crisp and complete status reporting to support project/program discussions at Steering Committee and Sponsor level
- Apply consistency and best practices through project initiation, planning, execution and closing phases, enabling business outcomes and benefits tracking
- Manage all phases of the technical project execution from Design through Delivery; ensuring scope, schedule and budget are adhered to
- Communicate internally and externally; lead daily scrum meetings, deliver status reports, identify, and manage change requests
- Conducts project/program meetings with appropriate agendas and minutes
- Proactively remove roadblocks and escalate, as appropriate, to management
- Work with the IT Managers and developers to determine work estimates and resource requirements to create a detailed sprint plan
- Promote organizational understanding of Agile roles and to help teams and individuals transitioning from waterfall to Agile
- Enforce Agile best practices and serve as scrum master for multiple teams. Manage and guide the teams in executing Agile ceremonies and creating artifacts
- Facilitate Scrum rituals (Planning, Standups, review, retrospective, etc.)
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience with project or program management, scheduling software and other tools for tracking, reporting, and analyzing progress
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Agile traits and techniques: Lean design, accommodating changing requirements, iterations, loop feedback with customer involvement
- Familiar with Agile methodology and delivery methods
- Experience in managing all aspects of large-scale multi-discipline telecommunications projects
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills with mindset focused on risk management
- Effectiveness in working across teams (internal & external) to define and manage work activities
- Expertise to manage multiple projects in parallel operating in various phases of execution
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to provide project status to various levels of management both internal and externally
- Control scope and manage the change control process
