Essential Job Functions may include:

  • Performs protective and enforcement/patrol duties for the safety of guests and associates and the security of the property.
  • Answers radio calls for assistance from guests and associates.
  • Initiates and follow-up on investigations of incidents that occur on resort property.
  • Patrols property for security and safety issues and corrects or documents findings.
  • Monitors and reviews CCTV video for compliance and safety issues. Will trouble shoot & respond to fire alarms, intrusion alarms and other life safety alarms as needed. Assists in maintaining property parking program.
  • Assists maintenance team with various handyman and security functions, as needed.
  • Supports resort department and property safety and security programs as needed or directed.
  • Assists department manager or security supervisor in maintenance of crisis management plans, safety programs, and other department initiatives.
  • Responsible for the disposition and storage of lost and found items including follow up calls to guest regarding lost items.
  • Maintains security equipment in operational state.
  • Participates in the property electronic key accountability and audits.
  • Assists in maintaining fleet vehicle program including servicing and condition of vehicles.

Education, Skills & Experience:

  • The ideal candidate for this opportunity must be alert, brave, proactive and be able to provide exemplary customer service to both guests/owners and associates.
  • 1+ year of security related background
  • Experience in patrol techniques and crisis management is preferred
  • High school or equivalent education. Education and training in the Protective Services Field experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to work 3rd shift
  • State Guard card is preferred
  • Current CPR/AED certification is preferred
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Communicates effectively with guests, supervisors and associates.
  • Stay informed concerning emergency procedures, current projects, security issues, and location of emergency equipment.
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Fluency in both written and verbal Spanish is preferred
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Additional Job Elements:

Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours. Must also be able to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, & crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds in an emergency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
