JOB SUMMARY:


We are looking for a Security Specialist to join our growing team. The Security Specialist reports to the Corporate Security Manager. The primary purpose of this position is for the development, implementation, and daily operations of security services, physical security protocols, and procedures designed to protect STIIIZY Inc employees, customers, assets, and brand. This includes developing and documenting standards, developing training materials, delivering training, auditing, revising security procedures, and partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Supporting administration of the physical security programs in a manner consistent with departmental policies, procedures, quality standards, customer needs and applicable local, state, and federal regulations
  • Conducting retail and facility security risk assessments and projects, assisting with access control, monitoring alarms and CCTV systems, and providing security related training
  • Complete regular physical security risk assessment for store and facility sites, documenting findings in a timely manner and presenting recommendations to Security and Safety Department
  • Assist with managing security access systems, alarms, and CCTV systems within company, assist with handling installation plans, technical issues, system updates, and dispatch of repairs
  • Monitor security systems operational effectiveness, consistently checking systems for camera clarity, placement, and recording efficiency.
  • Build and maintain tracking spreadsheets/databases for Security and Safety team
  • Perform other duties as requested

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:


  • Independently develop reports, spreadsheets, and other information that may be needed. (e.g. – MS Word, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Technologically savvy - experienced or able to learn CCTV systems, access control and other physical security systems
  • Able to interact in a corporate environment and effectively communicate with all levels of management
  • Possess a positive "Can Do" attitude by stepping up and taking additional responsibilities and adapting to changes in an ever changing, fast paced, and hyper-growth environment
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience handling access controls, alarms, or CCTV systems – 1-3 yrs.
  • Associate's or vocational degree in Electronic Technology or Computer Science., Commercial security systems, including fire, burglar, CCTV, access control, and/or security assessments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
