Job Summary

As an account executive you will be active in selling and servicing new businesses primarily through in-person meetings, calls and emails with customers in the Tampa Bay area. You will also be responsible for servicing regional and national clients outside the Tampa Bay market via phone and digital communication.

Clients outside the market include global, national and regional brands and clientele trying to reach and communicate with our affluent Tampa Bay audience.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prospecting for new business
• Build relationships with legacy accounts
• Communicate with clients to develop advertising strategies
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop creative direction of ad campaigns
• Coordinate ad materials
• Traffic ad proofs and obtain edits/ad approval
• Ability to leverage experience across print and digital platforms
• Dependable, detail-oriented, able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Possess the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously
• Self-motivated and self-starter

Qualifications and Skills

• 5 years of media sales experience
• Prefer candidates who have significant experience in the Tampa Bay market
• Prefer candidates with a significant roster of clients and leads
• Prefer candidates who are comfortable with selling multi-channel marketing programs that include print, digital and social.
