Work with the best boat-building team in the world: MTI. We are looking to add an experienced and strategic Senior Accountant to our team! Candidate must be excited to be part of a talented team that delivers amazing boats!

The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of the finance/admin team who is responsible for the following:

• Preparing periodic (monthly) balance sheets and PL statements across multiple entities
• Reconciling bank accounts and communicating with banking institutions
• Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills, and supporting documentation
• Maintaining accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices, and confirming the validity of debts
• Maintaining a variety of financial reports and records
• Assisting controller with month-end account analysis and tasks
• Maintaining cash management throughout the company and additional entities
• Assisting with the development of new policies and procedures to support our rapid growth
• Working with the existing accounting staff to provide support and direction as needed
• Assisting with additional responsibilities as needed

This role reports directly to the Controller and responsibilities may evolve as the company continues to grow.

Required skills:

• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting
• Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
• Highly proficient and adaptable with accounting software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite or similar
• Ability to work OT as occasionally needed
• Ability to work seamlessly within all levels of the organization

Preferred:

• Manufacturing Industry Experience
• Experience updating and migrating accounting software

Required education and experience:

-Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline

-Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience

-An ability to be flexible and adaptable as the company and accounting department continues to grow

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
