Job Summary:
Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Contracts Analyst. You will have an opportunity to support the development of proposals, as well as administration, modification, and closure of contracts. You will interface with the customer on contracting matters and ensure that proposed and negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies, as well as advise program management of contractual rights and obligations and means to mitigate contractual/program risks.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Providing technical knowledge to develop innovative contracting solutions which will result in achieving program and business objectives.
- Providing Request for Proposal (RFP) assessment, proposal generation, contract negotiation, contract management, and ensuring that business deals comply with company policies.
- Supporting program gate reviews, program management reviews, business strategy sessions, proposal reviews, risk management, and all other contracts matters.
- Developing relationships with and serving as the focal point of contact with the customers’ agents.
- Shaping opinions of key stakeholders and negotiating to create the best outcomes possible.
- Advising management of contractual rights and obligations; mitigating contractual and program risks; compiling and analyzing data; maintaining historical records.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Typically requires a university degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or 5 years equivalent experience without a degree.
Qualifications We Value:
- Active DoD security clearance.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and the Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and equivalent U.S. Government Regulations.
- Experience in change management, Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), dispute resolution, and negotiations.
- Experience in various contract types including internal business transactions.
- Comfortable working in an environment with established company policies and procedures
- Good analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with MS Office applications.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, where prioritization is required to be effective.
- Proven record of responsiveness with excellent time management and organization skills.
- Past experience in a position requiring multi-tasking and handling several assignments concurrently.
