Description of Duties:

The Senior ArcSight Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

• Operationalize, administer, and maintain the ArcSight platform
• Solve complex technical issues independently and with the help of teammates.
• Perform daily battle rhythm status checks and weekly/monthly system health checks.
• Perform Windows/Linux patching activities including patching, reboots, and documentation updates.
• Review and respond to incidents, organize and attend meetings, and participate in ArcSight planning and development for future improvement.
• Install and configure new ArcSight software and updates. Assist organizations with the remote installation and configuration where needed.
• Must be able to support after-hour maintenance window work as required to keep the ArcSight application up to date with all patching and updates.
• Must be able to be on-call as required to support MDA mission events.
• Support other projects that improve the overall cybersecurity posture of the MDA as required

This position can be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL

This position is expected to pay $107,300 - $117,300 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience.

• Must have at least 5 years of directly related experience working with IT systems.
• Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT level II certification.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Requirements:

• Have experience as a SIEM tool administrator.
• Have experience with product configuration and troubleshooting of ArcSight or other SIEM tool.
• Have experience with other cybersecurity tools such as Trellix, McAfee, Tenable, ACAS, and Tanium.
• Have experience using Remedy software.
• Have experience with Systems Management to include installation, configuration, and Operations and Maintenance tasks.
• Have experience with Windows environment troubleshooting.
• Have experience troubleshooting in a Cybersecurity team environment/Linux environment.
• Have experience creating and managing systems in a VMWare based server system using ESXi and VSphere.
• Be familiar with Virtual machine environment troubleshooting with evaluating and implementing STIGs.
• Have experience or familiarity with MDA and Ballistic Missile Defense.
