Job Description

The Opportunity

John Hancock's Long-Term Care division is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support emerging work in its Anti-Fraud, Waste and Abuse Program. This team focuses on implementing customer-facing fraud controls that won't negatively impact customer experience and generate savings.

We are looking for someone to perform complex research and analysis of small to medium business initiatives as well as identify, document, and analyze complex processing, service and/or technical improvement opportunities. Business initiatives may also include implementations of new technologies and new product implementations.

Responsibilities

• Translate design, document, refine, deliver and play point on enhancement requirements for our existing mobile and customer facing digital solutions for development and quality engineers.
• Collaborate with multiple IT partners to create rules to support additional invoices and forms feeding into newly created analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with actuaries on reporting and tying customer behavior to fraud waste and abuse savings.

Working on a Value Stream applying agile methodologies, you will work in a Team-of-Team structure working closely with IT, Advanced Analytics, Human Center Design and Legal to optimize the LTC inforce business by achieving savings targets.

What we are looking for

• 3-5 years of experience in a related field, preferably financial services institution.
• Comfortability with reporting or past experience with development process of software. Salesforce Admin Experience preferred.
• Background in an Agile work environment.
• Experience writing, monitoring, and owning the requirements process. Taking initiative and following through is key.
• Long-term care industry knowledge is a plus.
