SFI is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our team supporting a Federal Agency in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. As a key member of our team, the Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager will interface with the customers and lead/manage a range of activities including requirements collection and analysis, project implementation, and project reporting. Prior experience leading large, enterprise-level software development efforts is a critical requisite for this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Interface directly with customer and act as a solution provider for a variety of business problems.
• Lead a scrum team of 3-5 to architect and design software applications(Java, JS, and Oracle) utilizing best technology practices to design and implement a scalable, secure, end-to-end software product.
• Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
• Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
• Experience leading teams that work with serverless compute technologies and AWS cloud computing, e.g., AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, Cloud Formation, S3, SNS, SQS.
• Must be a solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and release management processes.
• Experience with JIRA / Confluence / Smartsheet / Visio / MS Project.
• Work with various program offices to arrive at priorities for releases and be proficient in explaining capacity as it relates to Agile sprints.
• Effective verbal and written communication with senior-level management and leadership on the customer side.
• Experience with contract and quality management requirements as it relates to government deliverables (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reports and financials)

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 8 years’ experience in a similar role or functions including software development on complex applications to large scale production environments.
• Previous federal government project experiences a huge plus.
• Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology, with a high-level understanding of concepts of user story, backlog, velocity, devops and cloud.
• Strong technical leadership and software project management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent software development projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to maintain an effective working relationship with development teams and customers.

• The salary for this position is $100,000 - $140,000 annually
