PROJECTXYZ has a unique opportunity supporting a government customer at Redstone Arsenal AL.

Purpose of Position:

Serves as a contractor senior analyst on the Data Analysis & Reporting Division within the G9 Directorate.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential):

· Responsible for ensuring the data visualization groups produce accurate, detailed, consistent, and high-quality work products.

· Identify and implement opportunities for automation in data visualization and interpretation to improve project completion efficiency.

· Collects, organizes, and prepares data for learning models, reports, and dashboards.

· Workings with senior level managers to interpret business trends, review sales and operational data to better manage the business.

· Participate in ongoing data validation to ensure data integrity and reliability

· Transforms data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals

· Provides visual, technical, and editorial guidance.

· Apply best practices in data visualization design and continuously improve upon intuitive user experience for business stakeholders.

· Statistics and prescriptive analytics

Qualifications:

· Related bachelor’s degree

· Secret level or high government security clearance

· 3-5+ years demonstrated experience with turning data into information, i.e. data visualization software (Tableau, MS Power BI, and CliK preferred); Experience with chartology, and building charts and dashboards

· 3-5+ years’ experience with working with users, identifying requirements, and extracting data sets based on user needs

· Excellent visual skills, including demonstrable design knowledge, such as layout, typography, color, interactive design and fluency.

Physical Factors

· Work environment is office.

· Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to operate a computer for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to operate a phone both making and receiving calls and taking or conveying information.

· Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

· Occasionally lifts/moves up to 25 pounds.
