Responsible to develop, communicate, and administer HR policies and programs under the direction of HR Leadership within a geographical and/or functional area that supports the company's overall business plan.Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations daily to assist managers and employees
- Coach managers, create and execute talent initiatives
- Direct and manage tasks, programs, and projects both with the client and within HR
- Provide strategic consulting to field leadership and hiring managers regarding staffing needs, compensation, performance management, employee relations, policy compliance, training, etc. for their respective employee populations
- Provide direction, coaching, and leadership to assigned Human Resources staff, as applicable
- Collaborates with local and national HR teams to implement policy updates, process improvements, streamline onboarding practices and provide training programs
- Partner with the centers of expertise for payroll processing, employee benefits programs, and national HR programs to ensure proper communication
- Partner with center of expertise to ensure compliance with all applicable employment legislation for the assigned geographic area, including monitoring and auditing local EEO practices
- Conduct employee relations counseling, mediation, and investigations as well as handle employee grievances under the direction of Senior HR Management
- Maintain advanced knowledge of HR Systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of HR Generalist experience with a diverse employee population, strong employee relations experience and demonstrated ability to exercise appropriate judgment
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail
- Highly collaborative with clients and colleagues
- Reliable knowledge of State and Federal employment law
- Ability to analyze, prioritize, and delegate as needed
- Demonstrates leadership capabilities
- Ability to work independently; self-starter
- Ability to pursue PHR or SPHR (professional designation)
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented
- Experience in real estate, financial or professional services a plus
- Experience working with Unions a plus
- Superior relationship skills
- HRIS proficient (Workday a plus)
- Coaching and dispute resolution skills
- Strong business acumen

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is:$76,500 - $90,000.
