Role

This position is part of a support team ensuring maximum uptime for our teams. The right person for the role will provide customer and help desk support in the NOVA office. Image company laptops, troubleshooting workstations, access user accounts, and provide basic network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed expectations of help desk support request
• Ability to classify and escalate requests accordingly
• Solid understanding of IT systems and processes
• Troubleshoot and resolves issues in an effective and timely manner
• Continually improving technical skills to reach higher levels of support
• Curious and will to continue education
• Translate technical requirements into high-quality, secure and robust implementations.
• Deploy, automate and maintain various systems.
• Willingness to share knowledge as well as receive knowledge
• Team player that fits CCG culture

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance (note, only US Citizens are eligible for security clearances)
• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Degree requirement can be met with two - four years of hands on experience in an IT Support role or similar full time position
• Experience with networking, including routing and switching
• Experience with provisioning and imaging Windows & Mac devices
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vCenter or Linux KVM
• Experience with host-based and network-based firewalls such as iptables, nftables, Cisco ASA, or Juniper SRX
• Strong instinct for troubleshooting and problem solving in a technical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• 3-5 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role
• Experience writing code in a language such as: Python, C/C++, Java, C#, Go, Rust
• Cyber Operations experience supporting government customers
• Experience with task tracking software such as Jira
• Experience with ticketing software such as ServiceNow
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experience with system alerting and monitoring
• Experience with VPN technologies such as Nebula, Wireguard, OpenVPN
• CompTIA A+ or NET+ Certified

Pay: $73,754.12 - $134,000.00 per year
