Role Description
For the role of Senior Manager, Security & Abuse Program Management Office , we’re looking for a proven manager who is eager to work cross-functionally and support a strong group of Technical Program Managers to deliver diverse, complex programs. These programs deliver and report on a multi-year security strategy to reinforce Dropbox’s secure foundations and build trust. This individual must come with proven management successes, and be able to work with and influence people across entire organizations.
To be successful in this role, the leader must be considered by their industry peers as a resource for unblocking strong program delivery. Strong individual technical program delivery as well as experience teaching and mentoring others are a must. Relationship building is essential, but this leader must be able to balance execution with forging relationships. We are looking for a leader that can balance many complex strategic assignments at once, and build and develop a thriving team simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Lead the Program management office focused on managing the throughput of projects.
Manage a team that handles the tactical planning processes for including multi-year strategies, 6-12 month annual planning/roadmaps, goal setting, and investment planning.
Partner in the advancement of our long-range strategic security plan across Dropbox.
Further develop a high-performing team that is focused on delivering security programs, supporting technical teams including short and long-term planning, as well as culture and communications.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in program and portfolio management with experience in information security.
Strategic planning expertise, along with demonstrable experience in program management
Proven ability to set vision and direction high functioning teams, prioritizing objectives and resources to scale impact over time
Demonstrated expertise for breaking down challenging, layered instructions into logical, accessible choices
Natural coalition builder, with demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in a demanding environment
Exceptional written communication
Adept at understanding and contributing to conversations with colleagues in technical functions
Structured and analytical thinker with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete plans

For candidates hired in the following locations: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maryland, Oregon, Washington D.C. metro, California (outside SF metro), the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $192,800 - $226,800 - $260,800.
For candidates hired in the following locations: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois (outside Chicago Metro), North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas (outside Austin Metro), Virginia (outside D.C. Metro), the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $171,400 - $201,600 - $231,800.
Range(s) is subject to change. Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
