The Senior Network Manager is responsible for the design, installation, configuration and administration of network operating system components, server-based software, and hardware. Optimizes, oversees, and supports business communications data and telephony networks including overlaying security technologies. In addition, the Senior Network Manager assists in other areas of business as it affects the infrastructure throughout the enterprise. They will assist leadership with understanding and implementing technical and process standards and supporting department budget planning and management.

Job Duties:

• Manage and support the enterprise network environment for Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando (LHUO) Campus

• Manage and support Corning SDLAN (GPON) environment for LHUO Campus

• Design, configure, and maintain routers switches, firewalls, and wireless access point.

• Participate in on call rotation

• Travel across LHUO Campus to troubleshoot issues or implement systems

• Monitor and maintain functionality of all network components

• Complete security patching and risk remediation for all network environments

• Follow change management process to plan, document, and execute system upgrades, changes,

and decommissions

• Assist with network technology projects for enterprise network hardware

• Manage and support network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and APC StruxtureWare

• Assist in troubleshooting applications/systems across all OSI layers

• Create and maintain network/systems technical documentation

• Track, prioritize, and update status for ongoing and upcoming projects

• Other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required

• Minimum of 10-15 years prior work experience

• Cisco (CCNP) certification, or equivalent hands-on experience

• Experience with datacenter networks (Cisco Nexus, VXLAN, firewalls)

• In-depth knowledge of routing, switching and WAN services

• Experience with network segmentation and zoning.

• Experience with networking concepts, TCP/IP, sub netting, VLANs, WAN protocols (BGP, EIGRP,

and OSPF), SDWAN, DMVPN.

• Experience with Installing all new hardware, systems, and software for networks.

• SolarWinds (IPAM, NPM, Netflow)

• Network load-balancers (Citrix ADC/NetScaler/WARP)

• Network automation, scripting and capacity planning

• Virtualization technology

Skills & Attributes:

• Self-starter, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays, and overnights

• Able to replace/lift equipment that may weigh 50+ lbs.
