On the Viva Engage Product team, we delight in connecting individuals across their organization in communities, bringing an increased sense of connectedness and belonging to work. We’re highly collaborative – partnering across Product, Engineering, Design, and Research to distill these challenges into clear solutions. In this role, you will engage deeply with some of the world’s largest companies and most recognizable brands. We’re looking for someone that is comfortable engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and working with design/research/product to build new solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with people across HR, Corporate Communications, IT, and more. We want someone that can partner closely with our marketing colleagues and is comfortable leading various go-to-market activities. Ideally, you have some experience helping people embrace new ways of working and have helped organizations embrace collaboration platforms at a large scale.
Location: This role is open to US-based remote work, however, standard team hours will follow the Pacific Time Zone
Responsibilities
- Work with product and marketing teams to define, implement, and continually evolve the customer outreach strategy
- Create and manage programs for communicating with and collecting feedback from customers
- Create presentations, demo material, and other engaging presentation content
- Serve as a community manager for our customer communities
- Represent vision, mission, and product direction to our customers and internal stakeholders
- Distill customer learnings and help our product teams build solutions that address their challenges
- Collaborate across Microsoft product and marketing teams to incorporate Viva Engage story
- Work closely and constructively with product and engineering to ensure the customer voice is at the forefront of our product decisions
- Develop go-to-market resources to support customer success, field sellers, and partners
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated user focus and a deep customer commitment to delivering solutions that create user value and delightful experiences.
- Demonstrated product sense and ability to validate hypothesis through data and experimentation.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and proven ability to drive results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Marketing or a related field.
- Customer focus and advocacy for their needs
- Demonstrated communication/presentation skills to tell stories to customers, partners, and peers
- Ability to thoughtfully engage with both technical and non-technical audiences including C-level executives
- You are self-motivated, have attention to detail and desire to represent Microsoft and Viva Engage
- Creative and inventive spirit that can generate new ways for us to tell the Viva Engage story
Customer Experience Program Mgmt IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
