The Senior Specialist, Inventory is a responsible for all assigned activities that support the smooth operation and regulatory compliance of all other units within QPS, Department of Translational Medicine (TLM), specifically Laboratory Compliance and Management (LCM). The focus of this role is inventory and procurement of laboratory consumables.

The Job

• Receive deliveries of laboratory supplies and execute stocking activities in designated areas.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining general laboratory consumables located in the stockrooms and designated LCM refrigerators.
• Help maintain standing orders such as pipette tips and specialty plates.
• May communicate with vendors to obtain price quotes, place orders, and receive status updates regarding shipping.
• Interact with and execute tasks on behalf of TLM with Quality Assurance, IT, and corporate facilities per SOP and supervisor guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree plus ~1 years related experience OR
• Associate’s Degree plus 2 or more years of relevant experience OR
• High School/GED plus 4 or more years of relevant experience
