Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant.

Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay Rate: $90K to $100K .

Job Description

Prestigious Pittsburgh organization has an immediate need for a Senior Tax Accountant.

Assist with planning, guiding and coordinating the majority of tax operational
functions.
Assist with coordinating and preparing tax items for external tax preparers.
Assist with tax planning and compliance.
Track, reconcile, and draft responses to tax notices.
Track and reconcile tax payments and refunds.
Prepare quarterly excise and unrelated business income tax payment
estimates for review.
Prepare quarterly individual tax payment estimates for review.
Coordinate tax calls, meetings, and related distribution lists.
Process tax preparation invoices and related inter-company splits.
Assist in preparing tax workpapers, documentation, and tax basis rollforwards.
Assume lead liaison role for tax matters follow-up and resolution with external
investment managers.
Assist with detailed tax research/analysis and recommend action items and
solutions to broad Finance team.
Provide analyses as needed, particularly with respect to tax matters and planning.
Provide support as needed to finance team staff.
Assist with the General Accounting function as needed.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· 5+ years accounting experience, 2+ years in public accounting

· Microsoft Excel skills required, ERP experience strongly preferred

· Ability to effectively work independently and meet deadlines

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
